My three year old daughter wanted a Lalaloopsy really badly. She sings the song with the commercial every time. I wanted to get a Lalaloopsy doll that looked a little more ethnic. I did not particularly like the Dot doll with the blonde hair(not a very good idea). I looked on the official Lalaloopsy website to make an informed decision. There is a large selection. The doll does not really have any educational value unless you discuss a topic with your child that is relevant to a doll's theme. The durability is four stars because the head is big(cute...but big) and heavy and the doll is not designed to be self standing. My child's enjoyment is a five thus make the overall rating. The dolls are really adorable especially if you like the ragdoll look. I did find a cute one called Pepper and Pots, but once I got to the stores some dolls did not look quite the same in person. The Swirly Figure Eight doll was simply adorable, however I only found the minature one. The Tippy Tumbelina doll was also very cute in person. Price was also a minor factor, but since the holidays the stores are being competitive with each other. Toys r us@$19.99(sale/limited store availabilty) and Target @$17.99(limited time) but I would not pay more than $20 for this style doll. I chose Sahara and it ended up being a perfect choice. My daughter is still singing the song!

Just adorable! The Easter Bunny put this in my daughter's Easter Basket and she couldn't stop talking about it, and wanted to open it - BEFORE candy! I love how the parts move. But hey ya'll, they are only $3.99 at Target THIS WEEK and I think they are still making a killing off that price, so, keep that in mind on what is financially reasonable. ;D

This past holiday season welcomed the Lalaloopsy dolls. My 4 year old couldn't stop talking about them (big ones, little ones - it didn't matter what size). These mini Lalaloopsy figures are actually pretty cute ad come with little accessories. They are VERY small but travel really easily in a zip lock bag. If you have a little girl I think she will love them. They even have some cool playsets to buy now like a ferriswheel. Tiny pieces aren't a parent's favorite but little girls just love them for some reason.

Other reviews state these are 2 inches, cheaply made and not detailed. They are more like 3 inches-a bit bigger than polly pockets and wider due to their big heads and dresses, maybe not so detailed but not terrible-still have a mole and such here and there, and I think they are made very well and cannot see them breaking. My daughters ages 8 and 9 love these. They are so cute. They love rag dolls because they are so floppy and these dolls are just the same but plastic! Their legs swing freely, heads bobble, and their arms can be twisted. Just very cute. They were their favorite toy this Christmas!

I am so glad I recieved this before Christmas and was able to complete the set for my neice. These have been so hard to find. They are $10 at toysrus and for two weeks I searched all the toys r us's in the Tampa area (New Port Richey, Tampa, Wesley Chappel, Clearwater, Brandon, and St. Pete) and was unable to find them. Luckily I thought to look on here and there it was! It was only 14.95 but that was perfect because I spent more than that in gas trying to find it at TRU. These dolls are the "Tickle Me Elmo" of this Christmas and hard to find, so if you see it and it's available BUY IT! The extra 5 bucks is totally worth it. I will admit I was a bit worried when I saw the estimated arrival date for the shipment, because I ordered on 12/10 and it said I would not recieve unti l/04, however, the day I ordered was a Friday and I recieved it on Monday 12/13! I was amazed, with the weekend and everything taken into account I practically got One day shipping!!
