I love this set. I thought I was getting one without the bonus Spot doll, and was excited to see when I got the bonus...and then no longer excited about it when I got it out of the box. If you like the accessories and Pillow, go for it, but if Spot is the selling point to you for this set, forget it. The way they packaged the bonus doll into the box, bends the dolls legs to one side, putting them into a permanently awkwardly sideways position. I tried to fix them, but they always just go crooked again. So the set is great, but the bonus doll is ruined from the start.

Absolutely LOVE the Pillow Featherbed version that comes with this set. Instead of having the easily breakable legs of the original mini Pillow, this one has swingy legs and a dress and leggings style of pjs. Her pet sheep wears a sleeping cap, differentiating it from the original also. And the furishings are adorable and very clever. The bed is made of a graham cracker bottom, birthday candle bedposts and cinnamon swirl scrollwork details. The headboard and footboard resemble spritz cookies. There is a teapot and thimble lamp, a cookie table, a bedtime book and a tomato pin cushion seat. Lots of fun little things to keep track of:) It's these details that got the product 4 stars...
With that said, there is one big flaw: the bed comes apart very easily. The pieces don't truly break like Humpty Dumpty~ you can put them back together; they are merely puzzle-pieced together with no epoxy to fortify the hold. The bed scroll things are prone to popping off. I keep the scrolls off permanently because it was too annoying to have to put them back on every other minute. The bedposts and boards (which are connected) each pop off, but are thankfully easily reassembled. The least frustrating piece that comes apart is the table. The top pops off, but it doesn't seem to do it spontaneously like the bed pieces. I have learned with another mini issue that the plastic used for these toys is not easily glued. I tried Super Glue as well as rubber glue and Tacky glue several times on a wounded mini. None of the glues work permanently, unless you retire the toy from play. So I haven't bothered trying any glue with the play set. I am not sure why MGA would engineer this toy to come apart; judging from the ages that love these, I can only see this as a nuisance for children and parents alike.
All in all I would recommend this to a friend~ but only one with children old enough to be careful with the unhinging issues. My little one gets very frustrated with the bed, and it often gets left in the storage box.
